The Dashboard

Read the overview of your devices and scripts, run a script by drag and drop, and follow the runs.

Last reviewed 2 November 2026

By the end of this page you can read the Dashboard, filter your devices, run a script on one and follow it. ⏱ 5 minutes

Before you start

  1. 1

    Open the Dashboard

It is the first entry in the sidebar: click Dashboard (mark 1). It also opens when the app starts.

    Read the four indicators

Under the greeting, four cards sum up the situation: Devices connected (mark 1), Active scripts (mark 2), Errors (24 h) (mark 3) and PC CPU / RAM (mark 4). If Errors (24 h) isn't zero, look at the To handle panel.

Find your device in the “Devices” card

Each device has a live thumbnail, its serial number, model and state: Free, Busy or error. The All (mark 1), Busy, Free (mark 2) and Errors buttons filter the list, the magnifier (mark 3) searches a device by name, and the refresh button (mark 4) re-reads the list.

Run a script with “Run a script”

Click Run a script at the top (mark 1), then choose the script and the device. You can also go faster: in Available Scripts (tabs Favorites, Recent, All, with Show more for the rest), drag a script onto a device thumbnail.

  5. 5

    Follow it in “Runs”

The script you started shows up in the Runs panel. Clear finished tidies the list.

The Restart on crash setting restarts a script that stops on an error (up to 3 crashes in 10 minutes, restart after 3 seconds).

The “To handle” panel and activity

To the right of the Devices card, To handle lists script crashes with their error; Clear all empties the panel. Further down, Script activity charts what happened over 24 hours or 7 days.

Running on a Busy device

If the device is already running a script, AppsMobs warns you: you can run anyway, but both scripts will run at the same time on the same screen. It is better to wait until it is Free.

Restarting a device

Restarting a device (from Control) stops its scripts.
