Welcome to AppsMobs
What AppsMobs does, a section-by-section tour of the interface, and the recommended order to learn it.
Last reviewed 2 November 2026
AppsMobs is a Windows app that drives Android phones and emulators from your PC: you see their screen, control them, and run scripts on them that you write in Python or with blocks. By the end of this page you will know what each section of the app is for and where to start. ⏱ 5 minutes
Before you start
Nothing to prepare: you can read this page without installing anything. To try the app, you need to install it and sign in.
What the app does, in three ideas
- Devices: Android phones plugged in over USB, and emulators (LDPlayer is explicitly supported). Each one shows a state: Free, Busy or Error.
- Scripts: small programs that tap, swipe, and look for an image or text on screen. You write them in Python or with blocks, or have Claude or Grok draft them with the AppsMobs pack.
- Everything runs on your PC. The app drives the device with ADB and scrcpy, both bundled: you install nothing else.
What the app is not
AppsMobs does not make an account or a device "invisible": it sends real taps and takes real screenshots, nothing more. It runs on Windows only. What you automate remains your responsibility.
Tour of the interface
The sidebar on the left is your map of the app. It has two groups.
The Workspace group is where you use the app.
- Dashboard (mark 1): the overview. How many devices are connected, which are free, which scripts are running, crashes from the last 24 h. You can run a script from here by dragging it onto a device. Details: The Dashboard.
- Control (mark 2): pick one or more devices, watch their live screen, tap, swipe, and change Wi-Fi or volume. Details: Control a device.
- Automation (mark 3): schedule scripts (every 30 minutes, every day at 8 am…). This section can be hidden: you turn it on or off in Settings.
The Create group is where you build scripts.
- Playground (mark 4): the script editor, in Code or Blocks mode. You run your script on a device from here.
- Vision AI (mark 5): train a model that recognizes objects on screen. Available on plans from Pro up.
- Console (mark 6): logs from the app, the scheduler and each script.
At the bottom of the bar:
- Settings (mark 7): language, folders, live-screen settings, license, updates.
- Profile (mark 8, the button with your name): your account, your license, your referral code. The Collapse menu button folds the sidebar.
At the top right, one pill shows the number of connected devices, and another shows your plan with the days left on your license.
Recommended path
Follow the pages in this order. Each takes a few minutes.
- Install AppsMobs
- Sign in and activate your license
- Plug in a phone or an emulator: the step where beginners get stuck most, so take your time.
- The Dashboard, then Control a device
- Only then, your first script.
Not working?
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| I can't see Automation in the sidebar | It is turned off | Settings, then Enable automation |
| The sidebar is shrunk to icons | You clicked Collapse menu | Click the same button again |
| No device appears | USB debugging off, or a charge-only cable | Plug in a phone |
