Install AppsMobs
Download and install AppsMobs on Windows, get past the SmartScreen warning, and know where your files live.

Before you start
- A PC running Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. There is no macOS or Linux version.
- An internet connection (download, then license check).
- Your email and license key, received when you bought. You will need them on the next page.
ADB and scrcpy (the tools that talk to the phone) are bundled with the app: install nothing else.

Download the installer
Go to the download page and click the Windows download button. You get a file named
AppsMobs-Setup-<version>-x64.exe.A portable version (
AppsMobs-Portable-…) also exists, which runs without installing. If you are a beginner, take the installer. - 2
Run the downloaded file
Double-click the
.exe(it is in your Downloads folder). Windows will most likely show a blue screen. That is the next step. - 3
Get past SmartScreen
The blue screen says Windows protected your PC. The reason: the AppsMobs installer has no code signature, so Windows does not recognize the publisher. That is not a problem sign in itself.
Two clicks are enough:
- Click More info (a link under the text).
- A button appears: click Run anyway.
You got it right if the setup wizard opens.

Follow the setup wizard
The installer lets you choose the install folder. Keep the proposed one unless you have a reason to change it. Continue to the end; a shortcut is created on the Desktop and in the Start menu.

Start AppsMobs
Launch AppsMobs from the shortcut. A splash screen shows for about 3 seconds, then the sign-in window. Next: Sign in and activate your license.
If your antivirus also asks a question, it is for the same reason (unsigned program). Do not turn your antivirus off: just allow this one file if you downloaded it from the official page.

Your data lives in Documents\AppsMobs:

Updates
About 3 seconds after each start, the app checks whether a new version exists. If so, it offers it to you: nothing is downloaded without your confirmation. You can also check by hand in Settings, Advanced section (Check, Download, Install and restart buttons).
